After a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, the protesting students demanded a five-point implementation at a press conference at the foot of the BUET Shaheed Minar. Dhaka, October 7. 

The first year admission test is expected to be held on October 7 in the academic year of Bangladesh Engineering University (BUET). But the students demanded to take the test before implementing the five demands. They have also announced to continue the movement till implementation of their five-point demand.

From Friday afternoon, students of the movement met with Vice Chancellor Prof Saiful Islam at the auditorium of BUET. Although the Vice-Chancellor assured the students about the five-point demand, there was disagreement with the admission test date. The BUET administration wants to take the test on a scheduled day, and students want the date back. After the meeting, the students made their position at a press conference at the foot of the Buet Shaheed Minar around 9pm.

Mahmudur Rahman, a student of the 5th batch of BUET on behalf of the agitators, told reporters, "We will continue our movement by demanding an 8-point demand." However, considering the last-minute request of the Vice-Chancellor and the younger brothers and sisters from all over the country who are preparing for the admission test in BUET, we will agree with the BUET administration regarding admission test if five short implementation requirements are implemented in a short time. ”

The five claims that the students will agree with on the admission test when they are implemented are:

১. All those involved in the killings will have to be temporarily expelled and those whose names will appear in the chargesheet will be permanently expelled from the university - a notice should be issued to the BUET administration.

2. All costs of the Abrar murder case will be borne by the BUET administration and the BUET administration is obliged to provide adequate compensation to his family - it must be written in the notice.

৩. In BUET, organizational students have to ban politics and expel those who occupy the hall seats illegally and illegally. The office of political student organizations should be sealed on campus.

৪. A common platform should be added to the BIIS account to expose any such incidents in the future, such as torture, harassment and future occurrence in BUET, and a committee should be constituted to punish and monitor its full monitoring. The matter needs to be confirmed through a notice.

৫. A CCTV camera should be attached to all the wings on all floors of each hall, and continuous monitoring of this CCTV footage must be made - a notice must be issued.
